Spring Break

So, I was originally going to go to Tennessee with my family over spring break, but, sadly enough, those plans were cancelled.  Instead, I enjoyed staying home and doing laundry and cleaning house.  I played Zelda: Ocarina of Time a lot.  I finally figured out something I hadn't before, and I guess that made playing it so much worth while.  I also played Guitar Hero II, but I was afraid my arm would fall off, so I read a book too.  The most amazing things that happened over the whole break happened on Sunday.  I went bowling with my family after church.  My dad used to be a league bowler, so he smoked us all.  We had fun, though.  Then we bought a huge 46" LCD wall-mount television.  The TV we had in the living room before would turn itself off all the time, and we just had to wait for it to come back on.  Needless to say, it was pretty much worn out.  Now we have to completely rearrange the living room and hang that big sucker up on the wall.  I'm SO excited!  I'll probably have some friends over to watch a movie or play some video games.  I bet Mortal Kombat would look awesome on that screen!  I won't even begin to describe how amazingly spectacular Guitar Hero would look on it!  We're going to get satellite eventually too, so we'll be able to watch more than 6 channels on it!!!  In your face news channels and OETA!!!!  Woohoo!!!

1st blog of 2007!!!

So, I know I haven't posted since about, oh...early December.  I thought I'd catch you all up on my overly-exciting life.  Numero uno, I have a wonderful man named Dave in my life now.  He's super awesome and he makes me very happy, even when I'm having a crappy day.  Since that sleet fell and coated everything on the face of the earth (or around our area, anyway), I officially completely dislike ice more than anything in the universe, excluding Satan (I am choosing to avoid the word "hate" because it is very strong).  Well, that's about it.  Now you all know why I don't post very often.  Maybe something amazing will happen to me eventually.  I have high hopes for 2007.... I will keep you all updated!

SNOW!!!

I just wanted to let everyone know that, even though it happened a few days ago, I played in the snow.  I felt like a little kid again and it was delightful.  I haven't gotten to build a snowman yet, though, but if I did, I would've named him Sir Gunther Rodrigez the Amazingly Incredible...thanks Amanda, I love you, even though you don't have a xanga and you'll probably never read this.  So, yeah, I played in the snow a lot and I licked an icicle, which was kinda scary, because I had a traumatic experience with an icicle when I was a little kid........

Traumatic Story by Sarah:

I was prancing about in the snow in my yard when I noticed a fairly amazingly large icicle hanging from my back porch.  I was quite the dumb little ignorant child back then, so I decided to lick it without breaking it off first.  I put my mouth around the bottom the the sharp, cold spike of death and bit down.  Well, as most of us intelligent folk know, the icicle couldn't handle my brute strength, and proceeded to fall right into my mouth.  Fortunately for me, it caught onto my bottom lip and cut the inside of my mouth up pretty bad, but it did not tear a huge hole in my lip or anything, which is what should've happened when I thought about it later on.  Anyway, I didn't cry at all...I was in shock, I think.  I walked around to the front of the house where my dad was warming up his truck to go somewhere.  He looked at me and I smiled.  When I smiled, blood spilled out of my mouth and he kinda had that look like, "Oh my goodness.  What did you get yourself into THIS time?"  I told him I hated icicles and that they were evil.  He told me to go in the house and have my mom clean me up, since I had blood all over my coat.  When I went into the house and found my mom, I decided just to smile at her to see her reaction.  She freaked out...just like I knew she would.  It was funny...just like I knew it would be.  After asking me a thousand questions, which were all impossible to answer with a mouthful of blood, she finally cleaned me up.  Long story short, I was stupid once, and now I hate icicles.

                                                                             FIN

I'll leave you all with that story....and tell me all about any of your snow/ice stories if you have any good ones.

Adios and goodnight!

So.....

Hello everybody.  I just wanted to let you all know that I have nothing to say ever and that's why I never leave blogs on my xanga.  I have gotten complaints from some of you...you know who you are...and I just want you all to know that the only reason I don't leave blogs is because I don't have much of a life, and, according to Sir Matthew Hickman, I suck at the one that I do have.  So, instead of harassing me about not leaving blogs and REMINDING me that I don't have much of a life, maybe you could try showin' me some love....*sniff sniff*

So, now that I have all that off my chest, it's time to update you on my exciting life!

>  I just want you all to know that I ate chicken flavored ramen noodles for lunch today and they were spectacular.  I'd been craving them for about a week now... Anyway, I don't want to eat them ever again for at least a month or two.  I watched the news while I was eating my noodles too, which was very interesting and informative....ok, so I'm full of it.  There was nothing else on TV around noon today...except for soap operas, which I cannot stand.  Let's see...what else did I do today... Oh yeah!  NOTHING!!!  I went to work, which I actually like, so I have no complaints.  That's how exciting my life is...  I love you all!

Adios Amigos!

~Sarah Faith~

PS:  My life isn't REALLY that bad...I just felt like being dramatic today...

Choir clinic

So, today was the wonderful choir clinic here at CCC.  A lot of high schools from all around came to have Mr. Clinician guy tell them what they did wrong and show them how to fix it.  I only got to see 2 different choirs perform because I had classes all morning, but the ones I saw were great!  I don't remember where the first group I saw was from, but I absolutely LOVED their dresses...plus they had props (hats and canes).  They did a pretty good job too.  The other group was my old high school..(Caney).  They had gorgeous dresses too!  They did a great job.  They just need to have fun, because when you are, it shows and makes the performance more enjoyable for everybody.

Our show choirs here at CCC also got to perform.  The Ravenettes, which I am a part of, did well, but we could've done better if we'd had more stage practice.  The Soundsations did a wonderful job also.  I had a lot of fun today, and I hope that everybody else who participated had a great time too!

Later chaps!
